Competition Basic Beef is the preferred competition brisket rub of our company team Texas Select BBQ that helped win the coveted Triple Crown Grand Championship and has helped teams walk the winners stage nationally for brisket and steak. Our sugar free BBQ rub with peppery tones and extra garlic was developed over 30 years ago and will bring out the natural flavor of slow smoked beef brisket, shoulder, ribs, steak and roasts. Apply a base coat of oil first for best results and remember "shake it don't cake it" for an even coat of rub.
